About me

I blend deep knowledge with a flair for storytelling, to create immersive journeys through history and if I could choose a super-power, I’d choose time-travelling seven days a week and twice on Sundays. 

I’m Loona Hazarika, tour guide, historian, storyteller and blogger Hey Loons, who’s guided thousands of people around London and beyond since 2006. I’ve made several appearances on TV documentaries (BBC1’s ‘The Hairy Builder’ working with Dave Myers the Hairy Biker, SKY Atlantic’s ‘Urban Secrets’ working with actor Alan Cumming and BBC1’s ‘The Repair Shop’) and I’m also a voice actor (you might hear my voice on audio guides or some commercials).  

I LOVE bringing history alive with energy and lots of stories and I hold a Masters degree from the University of Cambridge.
