Hello! I’m Loona Hazarika – I’ve been a tour guide for 16 years and I’ve guided hundreds of people around my birthplace, London. I was trained by the British Museum where I gave some of their official tours and I recorded the audio guides at the Genocide Museum in Rwanda. I’ve always been passionate about history and have a Masters degree from the University of Cambridge.
I’ve made appearances on historical TV documentaries such as BBC TV’s The ‘Hairy Builder’, SKY Atlantic’s ‘Urban Secrets’ and BBC1’s The Repair Shop’ and here are some pictures of me at work:
